Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Crescent City, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Crescent City, California, 95531! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 5 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Previous charge experience Experience with patient ratios of 4:1 Charting system experience (Epic preferred) Travel experience required Description: ER RN needed for an emergency room setting. Must possess ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Every other weekend availability is required. Five years of experience required as per management. Staffing ratios are 4 patients per nurse. Candidates should have experience managing dysrhythmias and central line care. Experience with continuous IV sedation and emergency medications is essential. Candidates must be familiar with interpreting arterial blood gases and caring for ventilated patients. Familiarity with isolation precautions and triage processes is necessary. Daily census ranges from 50-70, with a total of 12 rooms and 11 beds in the unit. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services among others. Working hours include a requirement for weekend coverage. Candidates must provide a complete 7-year work history verification. Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring. All certifications must be AHA approved and in hand at the time of submission. Candidates should be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Locals may be accepted at a local rate.
