Join our team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Provider and play a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic environment. This full-time position offers the chance to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing comfort and dignity to those in need. Required Skills: Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM); hospice experience strongly preferred for FM or IM candidates Proven experience in hospice care Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Flexibility to work both onsite and telehealth (onsite preferred but not mandatory) BLS certification Nice to Have Skills: Experience with inpatient and outpatient hospice or palliative care settings Knowledge of complex symptom management Experience with telehealth services Ability to work independently and handle high-stakes clinical situations Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years experience in hospice or palliative medicine Prior experience with call coverage and managing complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment Other Requirements: Willingness to work onsite as needed, with potential for increased onsite hours later in January Ability to participate in shared call duties, including nights and weekends Flexibility in working hours to accommodate patient needs, including call nights and weekend shifts Willingness to collaborate across Portland and Medford locations This position offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00, with guaranteed hours of 8 hours per day.
