Desk Agent. In this role, you will be the face of our hotel,

Full-Time Front Desk Agent at Ashland Springs Hotel, you will play
a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and
ensuring a positive guest experience. Your main responsibility will
be to greet and assist guests upon their arrival, check them in and
out, and provide information about hotel amenities and local
attractions. You will also handle guest inquiries, requests, and
complaints, and strive to resolve any issues in a timely and
professional manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for
managing reservations, coordinating with other hotel departments,
and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.Minimum
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous
experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or
hospitality setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in
a professional and courteous manner.Strong organizational and
multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks
and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in computer systems and
software, including reservation and front desk management
systems.Preferred Qualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree in
hospitality management or a related field.Previous experience as a
Front Desk Agent or in a similar role in a luxury or upscale
hotel.Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and
entertainment venues to provide personalized recommendations to
guests.Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish or
French, to better assist international guests.Certification in
customer service or hospitality training
programs.Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests in a friendly
and professional manner upon their arrival at the hotel.Check
guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is
completed accurately and efficiently.Provide information to guests
about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, and assist
with making reservations or arrangements as needed.Handle guest
inquiries, requests, and complaints, and escalate any issues to the
appropriate department or manager for resolution.Manage and update
room reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking
process.Skills:In this role, you will utilize your excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional
customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your
organizational and multitasking abilities will be essential in
managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any
issues that may arise. Proficiency in computer systems and software
will enable you to efficiently check guests in and out, update room
reservations, and access necessary information. Additionally, your
knowledge of local attractions and ability to provide personalized
recommendations will enhance the guest experience. Fluency in
multiple languages, if applicable, will allow you to better assist
