Job Description:

The Sales Director is responsible for the day-to-day management and
exceeding gross profit and sales goals for their individual book of
business as well as their team's collective gross profit and sales
goals. This person is accountable for selling all Summit solutions
to target accounts, quality on all sales deliverables, managing
internal and external resources, driving the campaign plan and
delivering results, developing innovative business improvements,
balancing immediate and long-term priorities of the account team as
well as the client, building positive relationships, and setting a
winning example through Summit's Brand Promises. We are seeking
candidates in the Atlanta, Chicago and Washington, DC areas. A
fully remote work arrangement will be considered as well.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a Team Lead to: Provide coaching to team members on
achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results.
Coaching involves developing team members' performance, offering
feedback, and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work
ethic.
Mentor team members to help with making decisions and managing
conflict.
Assess individual goals, measure success, and evaluate progress
along the way.
Carry forward corporate driven sales strategies, training and
solutions and help implement and reinforce them through individual
sales team members.
Provide client guidance and assistance with managing existing
accounts as well as new business developments.
Responsible for the successful sale of all Summit solutions to mid
to large scale accounts.
Own and be accountable for the entire life cycle of the sales
process from qualification to close.
Understand and effectively deliver Summit Group's value proposition
to targeted clients.
Create new client acquisition through successful lead generation
including prospecting, networking, account-based marketing, and
social selling.
Develop sales strategies to maximize sales of branded merchandise
to multiple buyers and departments within each client
organization.
Understand client's business objectives, organizational structures,
and business environments in order to develop effective branded
merchandise solutions.
Provide high level of client experience to current clients
maximizing client retention.
Understand client needs in order to develop creative, on-brand
product ideation presentations for specific client projects.
Accountable for quality on all project deliverables, managing
internal and external resources, driving the business plan, and
delivering measurable results.
Develop and manage pipeline and accurate reporting on sales
activities and projected forecasts within CRM in order to hit
target revenue.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin goals.

Experience preferred in: B2B sales, inside sales, sales support,
public relations, branded merchandise, or marketing services
Microsoft Office proficiency
Bachelor's degree preferred but applicable experience will be
considered
