Get your foot in the door with Josephine CountyWe are currently seeking a Building Maintenance person to maintain county buildings and properties._*Requirements of the Building Maintenance Worker*_* Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.* Pass a Background check/drug test.* Able to troubleshoot building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.* Good communication, written and verbal.* Able to perform scheduled maintenance.* Minimum 1 year experience in Facilities Maintenance_*Benefits of the Building Maintenance Worker*_* Full time - Week Day hours* Great work environment_*Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Worker*_* Repairs and replaces parts in electrical circuits of buildings and equipment; install conduit and pulls wires; replaces ballasts, switches, and plugs; installs lights and equipment.* Repairs and maintains heating and air conditioning systems, including belts, motors, bearings, and boilers.* Installs new water lines and hot water heaters; repairs valves and water leaks. Clears and unclogs plumbing lines. Install filter and regulators; repair and replace circulation pumps, well pumps, and regulators.* Performs carpentry work, including installing or removing walls, doors, windows, and floors.* Builds cabinets, bookcases, shelving, and furniture.* Diagnoses and repairs appliances such as stoves, ovens, garbage disposals, and related kitchen equipment.* Removes and pours concrete for sidewalks, retaining walls, and curbing.* Performs fabrication and welding work such as screen dividers, steel plates, handrails, and flag poles.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.48 per hourSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to Relocate:* Grants Pass, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
