Maintenance Technician II to provide support to our Maintenance
Supervisor for multiple programs in Southern Oregon. The
Maintenance Technician II will perform preventative building
maintenance and repairs, landscape maintenance, and improvement
projects for facilities. This includes but is not limited to
replacing air filters, inspecting for plumbing leaks, replacing
caulking and ceiling tile grout in bathrooms and kitchens,
painting, and maintaining facilities' exterior appearances to
ColumbiaCare's standards. This position may be responsible for
weatherizing facilities, assessing and reporting damage to the
properties, identifying safety hazards, communicating issues to the
Facility Administrator and the Maintenance Supervisor, and
maintaining facility project logs. Work environment may include
indoors, outdoors, and in inclement weather.ColumbiaCare Services
is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness
(PSLF) ProgramWork Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
(Full Time) with occasional on-callWhat You'll Make$21.00 - $25.00
per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential
offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English
desired)What You'll NeedThe following criteria is
REQUIRED:Knowledge and experience of general construction and
landscape maintenanceAbility to operate power tools and yard
equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate
to administrators, staff, residents, and vendorsAbility to organize
work and prioritize multiple simultaneous projectsAbility to work
independently with little on-sight supervision Due to project
deadlines, some scheduling flexibility may be requiredRequires the
ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, stoop, dig, push,
pull and carry up to 75 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of
timeMust have own reliable mode of transportation to travel to
various program locations. (Mileage reimbursement is
available.)Additional Qualifications PREFERRED:Experience in
project planning and estimating costsSuccessful applicants MUST
also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving
record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background
