The OneGL landscape focuses on SAP as the core Finance and Treasury system. This includes the General ledger to the various subledgers and finance modules from Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Treasury Risk Module, Financial Product Subledger (FPLS), Reporting) and the Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) module will be the primary allocation tool within the OneGL landscape.The Corporate Strategic Projects team is looking for an experienced Lead Financial Analyst with strong Financial knowledge and analysis skills that have experience with the procure-to-pay business process flow and strong aptitude for learning and understanding system processes. This role will lead and perform various finance and system analysis to support our OneGL SAP S4 Hana finance system transformation journey. The focus area engaged will be in the procure-to-pay process from the acquisition of asset through invoicing and payment cycle, along with understanding of the related financial accounting and reporting needs. Experience with SAP Procure to Pay modules are desirable (i.E. General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Accounts Payable, Ariba).This role works under limited direction from the aligned Process lead on more complex tasks.Job Responsibilities:Lead and perform various financial analysis and research task to support OneGL SAP S4 Hana Procure to Pay process transformationLead efforts such as driving workshops, sprint planning and execution related to the delivery of the Procure-to-Pay SAP S/4 modules within the larger OneGL program - e.G. Fixed Asset, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Materials Management or related integrations.Owns or contributes to defining the requirements for Procure-to-Pay business process and solution with input from stakeholders.Plans activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversees day-to-day work and monitoring of progress towards goals.Actively engage in project meetings and help prepare regular reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders within and beyond the project team.Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options, while identifying recommended approach.Performs project close-out steps to include identifying lessons learned/best practices to inform the success of future projects. Applies continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle.Develop and apply learning of Agile framework to support project-related cadences. (i.E. leverage JIRA, collaborate in scrum teams, execute in sprint cycles, perform retrospectives to refine process).QualificationsBachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required.Minimum of 5 years of finance experience.Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.Communicates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals.Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods.Experience with SAP S4 HANA ERP system preferred.Exposure to Finance and Accounting systems, GL processing and month end financial close cycles.At Liberty Mutual, our purpose is to help people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow.
