are seeking a Community Partnership Coordinator (Program Analyst 1)
to join our Grants Pass Self Sufficiency team.
Summary of Duties
The Community Partnership Coordinator (CPC) works throughout the
district representing the Self Sufficiency and Child Welfare
Programs, as well as bringing back information and resources to
share with all the ODHS agencies. Time spent outside the office
will be significant as the employee participates in community
meetings and planning sessions, seeking resources for customers,
and providing presentations on ODHS programs/services.

- Contract Negotiation Your duties at a glance:
As a Community Partnership Coordinator, you will:
- Provide coordination and liaison services between multiple
partners and department staff within the local branch and/or
district.
- You will represent the agency and it's various and diverse
programs in a variety of community settings serving diverse
populations.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining
effective and positive working relationships with program service
providers, social service providers, community and faith-based
organizations and agency staff.
- You will be responsible for advocating for ODHS clients,
problem solving as necessary, to facilitate and/or enhance access
to services by ODHS clients as they seek economic stability.
- You will recommend program or service delivery changes based on
research and outcome measurement.
- Provides program and operational support to the Branch
Operations Manager and Program Manager as needed.
- Researching and developing, MOU's and space agreements,
resources, and potential providers.
- Assists in monitoring and tracking of MOU's and space
agreements. Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration,
Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency
program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and
skills, OR
- Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three
years technical-level experience that typically supports the
knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred (but not required) A

- Experience working in the community and in an environment with

- Communication skills: Communication is the foundation of
community engagement. Strong verbal and written communication
skills, as well as the ability to listen actively and
empathetically. Technical writing skills with the ability to adapt
to different audiences, contexts, and formats, such as online
platforms, MOU's, protocols, space agreements, public events, or
community forums. The ability to convey clear and compelling
messages, ask relevant and respectful questions, and provide
constructive and timely feedback.
- Cultural competence: Awareness and appreciation of the diverse
cultures, values, beliefs, and perspectives that exist within and
across communities. Demonstrates the cultural competence to
understand and respect the differences and similarities among
different groups of people, and to avoid stereotypes, biases, and
assumptions. Cultural competence also involves being open to
learning from others, acknowledging one's own limitations and blind
spots, and seeking feedback and guidance from cultural experts or
representatives.
- Relationship-building skills. Relationship-building skills in
this shared power position means the ability to establish and
maintain trust, rapport, and mutual respect with various
stakeholders, such as community members, partners, funders, or
policymakers. Demonstrates relationship-building skills to create
and sustain a network of allies and supporters who can collaborate
and cooperate on common issues and goals. Relationship-building
skills also involve being able to identify and leverage the
strengths, resources, and opportunities of each stakeholder, and to
address and resolve any conflicts or challenges that may arise.
- Facilitation skills. Facilitation skills are the ability to
design and deliver engaging and effective processes and activities
that enable participation, dialogue, learning, and action among
different stakeholders. Demonstrate facilitation skills to create a
safe and inclusive space where everyone can share their ideas,
opinions, and experiences, and where diverse perspectives can be
heard and valued. Facilitation skills also involve being able to
manage group dynamics, encourage creativity and innovation, and
foster consensus and commitment. Preference will be given to
candidates that are bilingual in Spanish and English.

Working Conditions
- Regular contract with ODHS staff, partners, providers,
stakeholders, and customers in person and over the telephone.
- Time spent outside the office will be significant as the
employee participates in community meeting and planning session,
seeking resources for customers, and providing presentations on
ODHS programs/services. May include customer's homes and other
public sites such as schools, businesses, other agencies, and
partner sites.
- The employee may be exposed to and need to deal with
issues/situations.
- This position may include working a flexible schedule that
could include evening and/or weekends. Background Checks and
