have an exciting new opening for an Outpatient Certified Recovery
Mentor (CRM) to work out of our DownTown Clinic in Medford, Oregon.
The CRM will link individuals to self-help support groups and
connect them with resources to support their recovery including
housing, employment, schooling, and professional and
non-professional services. The CRM will assist clients in
navigating different and sometimes difficult systems and services
(e.g., child welfare, criminal justice, mental health, primary
health, probation and parole, and the court systems) and in
obtaining necessary documents such as Food Handlers Cards and ID's.
They will also facilitate a recovery skills group and/or
co-facilitate evidenced-based recovery curriculum. Successful
applicants must understand HIPPA and 42CFR Part 2, demonstrate
strong communication and active listening skills, and have
experience in the Harm Reduction model. The CRM will transport
clients to or meet clients off-site for community support meetings
such as AA, NA, or other 12-step functions to support clients in
making connections. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am -
5:00pm (Full Time, Day) What You'll Make$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for
Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
About the ProgramOur Outpatient Program provides assessment and
evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically
indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and
psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team
operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in
psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services
are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public
Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. What You'll NeedSuccessful
applicants MUST:
- Be CRM certified through MHACBO
- Have SIX (6) months of CRM experience. Successful applicants
MUST have the ability to pass a criminal background check. Physical
Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently
talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach; as
well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require
the ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop,
squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In
addition, you must successfully completecrisisde-escalation and CPR
trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on
maneuvers and techniques. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
