CT Tech Additional Position Details: On Call Variable Schedule. This Flexible Workforce position also pays an additional 15% on top of the base hourly wage. Our Computed Tomography (CT) Techs perform various computerized tomographic procedures that are reliant on independent critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure quality evaluation of films. What You'll Do Provide quality patient exams that are clinically comprehensive and meet the needs of the patientManage a variety of designated work assignments including routine exams and procedures on OP, IP, and ED patientsExplain exams to patients (including family/friends when appropriate), answer questions and work to allay fears or anxiety associated with all procedures and CT equipmentMonitor and act on radiation safety best practices including lead shielding as necessary What You Must Have Experience One or more years of CT tech experience is preferred (will consider new graduates with technical and patient care proficiency) License/Certifications Licensed in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Computed Tomography CT requiredBLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start What We Offer Our Flexible Workforce (Per diem/On-call) Competitive starting wage, considerations for beneficial experience, education, and qualificationsAn additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position)Benefit option available through the Asante Flexible Workforce planExcellent retirement package with up to a 6% employer contribution About Asante and Southern Oregon Asante is a local, community owned and governed, not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive health care services to more than 550,000 people in a nine-county area of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
