Job Title: In-Home Safety and Reunification Services (ISRS) Full

- Wellness Program Responsibilities and Qualifications: This job

- Provides culturally appropriate service options to families
with children who can remain safely in their homes, or in their
communities, in addition to children and families who can be safely
reunited.
- Provides a combination of concrete safety and strengths-based
change services that will lead to lasting safety changes within the
family's home.
- Maintain services designed to protect children, stabilize the
family, and assist parents in establishing linkages to formal,
informal, and natural supports and resources so that a child can
remain safely with their family without further intervention of the
Oregon child welfare system.
- Support crucial child welfare initiatives to increase
percentage of children remaining safely at home after a child
safety threat is identified.
- Decreases length of time children spend in foster care.
- Allows for culturally and linguistically appropriate approaches
to reduce the disproportionate placement of children of color in
foster care. Education:Must meet Oregon State (OARS) requirements
and MHACBO certification as a "Qualified Mental Health Associate
(QMHA)," meeting one of the following qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field
- A combination of at least three years relevant work, education,
training, or experience. Experience: Experience to demonstrate the
competencies to identify precipitating events:
- Ability to communicate effectively
- understand mental health assessment, treatment, and service
terminology and apply each of these concepts.
- Implement skills development strategies, and identify,
implement, and coordinate the services and supports identified in
an ISSP.
- Preferred experience: Previous experience working with adults
diagnosed with mental illness or any disability group preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Valid Oregon driver's
license, insurable driving record. Driving is a requirement for
this position. Proof of insurance must be provided to the HR
department. Coverage must remain current. Personal automobile
insurance is required if clients are transported, or any agency
business is conducted by the employee using his/her personal
vehicle. Must meet the requirements to become MHACBO QMHA
Certified. Certification must be maintained for the length of
