have an exciting new opportunity for an Events & Special Projects
Coordinator at our Administrative Office in Medford, Oregon. This
position is responsible for the furnishings and d--cor at all
ColumbiaCare locations and programs, including purchasing,
tracking, and evaluating quality. The Events & Special Projects
Coordinator will maintain existing standards, as well as research
and identify sustainable options for various settings, including
Administrative Offices, Outpatient Clinics, and Residential and
Supportive Housing programs. All activities are carried out
collaboratively with program leadership, to ensure furnishings meet
the needs of clients and staff and promote an inclusive and
trauma-informed environment. This position will work closely with
the Administrative Services Manager to furnish new programs,
including developing timelines and budgets, purchasing furnishings,
and onsite set-up. The Events & Special Projects Coordinator is
responsible for event planning and coordination for administrative
staff events, company conferences and retreats, open houses, and
other various staff events, including developing budgets, securing
venues, tracking attendees, drafting communication, and onsite
coordination of the event. Candidate will need to have an
understanding and awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and
be able to assist with carrying out organizational goals in this
area. Traveling between various ColumbiaCare facilities is required
for this position. ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer
for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Work
Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with
schedule flexibility as needed What You'll Make$4,160 - $4,853 per
month DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered
for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
What You'll NeedThe ideal candidate will have strong attention to
detail, be highly organized, have a positive demeanor, be a
creative problem-solver, and have the ability to learn quickly and
take on multi-faceted projects. MUST meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing/Communications or
related field;
- OR minimum FOUR YEARS Administrative or Event Planning
experience;
- OR equivalent combination of education, training and relevant
experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of
the position Additional Qualifications:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with fellow
ColumbiaCare employees, as well as vendors, agencies and other
community professionals
- Demonstrate flexibility adapting to program changes
- Problem-solve complex issues by developing alternatives and
solutions
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
skills
- Administrative office experience including good working
knowledge of Apple products and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon
driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the
ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. About
