Location: Los Gatos, CA - hybrid (remote possible)Type: Full timePay Range: $93,315 - $112,783 We're looking for a motivated Senior Trust Accountant to join our growing company. PURE is rapidly acquiring property management companies, and the Senior Trust Accountant will assist the acquisitions team by leading due diligence in all matters relating to owner trust accounting. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Senior Trust Accountant will also be responsible broadly for ensuring that PURE maintains compliance with property management trust accounting regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support acquisitions by leading diligence in trust accounting
• Advise the operational accounting teams across PURE in regulatory compliance best practices
• Serve as company internal expert on trust accounting issues
• Conduct three-way account reconciliations as needed, according to state regulations
• Complete state specific reports and filings Your Background We're looking for someone who is comfortable in a high-growth environment and with deep expertise in trust accounting for property management businesses.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related major
  • Very solid technical knowledge of GAAP, with CPA preferred
  • At least four years of experience in accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of trust accounting regulations for property management, across multiple states
  • Highly experienced in completing three-way reconciliations according to state regulations
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Helpful to have experience with AppFolio, Propertyware, NetSuite
  • Outstanding analytical and business problem-solving skills
  • Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
