General Summary: The Foodservice Business Advisor supports the retail foodservice program, foodservice team, and foodservice customers. This position works closely with the Foodservice Sales Developers to onboard new foodservice business, and with customers to perform key customer business reviews, update menu and retail pricing, perform cost of goods analysis, and in-store training for quick service restaurant concepts in convenience stores and markets.Essential Job Functions:Foodservice coordination and QSR Trainer - Daily/Weekly functions to include:Manage schedule and route to perform key customer foodservice business reviews and trainingsTravel to areas scheduled for supportLead in-store training for new concepts and QSRsConduct foodservice business reviews with key customersAdvise customers on menu selections, product gaps, and SRPs in foodservice business reviewsSet appointments with customers and share calendar with FSDsWork closely with FSDs on timing of new openings and individual project details, rearrange schedule as needed when timeframes changeCommunicate with FSDs and customers to manage and prioritize customer projects and trainingsAssessing new QSR locations to place stocking order, set training schedule for store employees, and determine length of training needed on a case-by-case basisForecast new business with purchasing to facilitate QSR opening, check for, and fill any outs on stocking orderConsult with customer on custom foodservice graphic projects and work with graphics department and print company on project details and costsCommunicate with TSMs on transfer of duties and follow-up when a training and opening are completed, and on any follow-up needed from TSM, discovered during business reviewsSubmit stocking orders for foodservice productsPerform cost of goods analysis and updates in ExcelAdvise customers on new foodservice productsSubmit digital menu projects and updates to graphics departmentSubmit graphic project requests for customer marketing supportKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis in ExcelMicrosoft Dynamics NAV experience preferredStrong communication & organizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsMust be a self-starter with good self-directionAbility to work alone and independently for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment where details and resourcefulness are key attributesProactive attitudeMust have and maintain a valid driver's license, reliable and presentable transportation and required insuranceMust live centrally located within territoryEducation and Experience:HS diploma or equivalentMS Office Suite with intermediate Outlook and ExcelOutstanding communication skills internally and externallyDirect experience within a fast-paced, high-volume sales environmentFoodservice, retail, merchandising experience strongly preferredExperience in light training/facilitation of others preferred.
