Department:Operations and Payments Services Reports To:Operations and Payments Assistant Manager Grade:8Classification:Non-Exempt Supervises Direct: 0Supervises Indirect: 0 Role: Provides Operational support and assistance to all areas of the Credit Union utilizing Rogue Credit Union's Service Promises. Ensures timely and accurate information to internal members. Completes operational duties, and provides answers to team members through the helpline. Essential Functions& Responsibilities: 50% Completes all duties, including, but not limited to, handling and processing of daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check functions, Individual Retirement Account (IRA) administrator/processing functions, unclaimed property processing, Currency Transaction Report (CTR) review and submission, card disputes and card services system administration, employee setup/deletions, co-op, foreign cardholder, and federal adjustments. 30% Provides exceptional internal member service experiences through the helpline, email, or any other channel in a friendly and professional manner using the Service Promises to assist, educate, empower, and complete a members' request. Provides unsurpassed external member service to resolve and complete members' requests promptly and accurately. Assists internal and external members with reviewing and answering questions relative to card services, IRAs, ACH, checking, and operational inquiries. 15% Maintains knowledge of regulations pertaining to relative job functions, processing time frames, charge back and remains current on procedures. Stays current with technical knowledge of all member delivery teams' operating systems to provide accurate assistance to internal members. Actively cross-trains with Operations and Payments Services sub-teams to expand knowledge and provide backup support as requested. 5% Maintains knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services. Proactively performs other job duties as assigned. Performance Measurements:

  • Meets or exceeds the minimum established departmental and personal goals to assist in meeting the Credit Union goals.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management, and members in a professional manner utilizing the Service Promises and makes serving them a top priority. Practices active listening in communications with others, giving someone full attention and listening to understand, not just respond.
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating professionalism, strong composure and flexibility to meet deadlines. Ability to receive and act on feedback with a readiness to be flexible, try new things and take on new challenges.
  • Communicates regularly with the supervisor regarding key operating issues affecting the department or member service. Demonstrates integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
  • Provides support to the Operations and Payments Specialist I's by answering questions or by giving coaching through instruction.
  • Adheres to and maintains all Credit Union promotional, regulatory and policy compliance requirements including compliance with any Federal, and State laws. Knowledge and Skills: Experience:One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education: A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills:Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships or soliciting cooperation. Other Skills: Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator by touch. Must be computer proficient and ready to use PC spreadsheet software. Must have good productivity with the ability to manage the workload and meet deadlines. Must be thorough and have an eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Active listening skills, with deductive reasoning ability. Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines. Physical Requirements:Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing, and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using a computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Work Environment: Work Normal workday with occasional overtime. May require working Saturdays. May include evening or early morning travel with overnight stays. Exposed to potentially hazardous condition, e.g., robbery.
