Job Description:

IT Project Manager needed immediately for client based on Long Island, NY. Contract (option for hire for someone willing to commute occasionally to Melville, NY) Minimal travel. 5+ years experience needed as an IT Project Manager with some formerly technical/ functional skills with ERP Implementations.

Ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, with strong client facing communications skills.
Technical background needed in development, applications, or data
Experience in ERP implementations, specifically Order Management is preferred.
Experience in Agile, Scrum environments
Experience with Atlassian JIRA needed.
PLUSES:
middleware/ PaaS/ interfaces
PMP or ITIL certification
Strong, well funded client. Contract renewable on 6-month basis.
DURATION This is a 6-month engagement with chance for follow-on or possibly hire if you are interested as they do need to back-fill this role. Backfill likely to be in NYC metro area.
