Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. Travel position.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. A Bachelor of
Science in Nursing is required. Valid nursing license is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU.
Every other weekend work is required. On-call or call-off may be
based on census. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Floating to other units
may be necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes various
healthcare professionals. Must have experience in managing patients
with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Candidates should be
comfortable with ventilator management and performing various
critical care procedures. Knowledge of infection prevention and
isolation precautions is essential. The daily patient census
averages 4-6. Candidates must provide a 7-year work history for
verification. All certifications must be current and in hand at the
time of consideration. Background checks will be conducted prior to
hiring. Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days
