Job Description Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible MD or DO in Emergency Medicine to join their team in a Level III Trauma facility handling 35,000 ED visits annually. The department comprises 12 EM physicians and 3 APPs, offering a flexible schedule of 15 eight-hour shifts per month, with night shifts available at a pay differential. Providers typically see 1.5-2 patients per hour, with no call responsibilities outside scheduled shifts. APPs work 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and collaboration is encouraged without supervisory responsibilities. The facility features a 10-bed ICU supported by hospitalists, intensivists, and Pulm/CC specialists, with a collaborative culture for handling codes. Procedures are limited to routine emergency care, with complex cases stabilized and transferred. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and flexible team in a busy and dynamic ED.
