Job Description MedCadre is seeking a local contract Radiology Technician for a local contract job in Medford, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Title: X-Ray Technologist Location: Southern Oregon, Medford/Grants Pass, Oregon Job Type: Permanent full time Schedule: Monday–Sunday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Job Summary Conduct exams where patients are located. Homes/care facilities/ institutions/LTACH settings. Equipment moved via vehicle. Receive orders from dispatch. Travel to patient. Load and unload equipment. Conduct exams. Send images to Radiologist through an EMR system. Clean and sanitize equipment. Travel to next patient. Must be, or capable of becoming, licensed in the states of Oregon and Washington. AART certified (or equal credentialing). Be able to store vehicle and equipment when not on duty. 40 hours/week guaranteed with some on call. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities - Travel to patient locations including homes, care facilities, institutions, and LTACH settings - Safely transport, load, and unload mobile X-ray equipment - Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in non-traditional settings - Properly position patients and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed - Receive and manage imaging orders from dispatch - Upload and transmit images to the radiologist via EMR system - Maintain accurate documentation and patient records - Clean, disinfect, and maintain imaging equipment after each use - Store vehicle and equipment securely when off duty - Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals Qualifications & Requirements - Active Radiologic Technologist License. - Must have 2years of experience in Knowledge of medical terminology. - ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) Please submit your resume to or Call .
