Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Provide direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Manage care of assigned patients and direct activities of ancillary staff • Work with patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required • Call required depending on census • 36 hours of orientation provided • Work with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics • Daily census of 17 patients on a 24-bed unit • Epic charting system experience required • Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (all must be AHA certified) • California RN license required at time of submission • Minimum 2 years of experience required • Skills include telemetry monitoring, accessing/managing ports, phlebotomy, PCA management, total joint replacement care, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, and isolation precautions • Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, diabetes, CVA, pneumonia, sepsis, and post-surgical conditions • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • 7-year work history verification required • Modules completed during orientation through e-learning system Facility: This coastal healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with telemetry monitoring capabilities.
