Occupational Therapist Location: Medford, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,138 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Inpatient Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active occupational therapy license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 6 patients within an 8-hour day - Proficiency in Epic charting system Description: Position will float between various inpatient units. One regular weekend shift per week is required. On-call duty is not required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Successful candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Core responsibilities include assessing and treating patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Clinical decision-making will be necessary for patient care across various units such as ICU, telemetry, and med-surg. Candidates should be familiar with rehabilitation techniques for conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and more. Additional skills in adaptive equipment assessment and community re-entry planning will be advantageous. Candidates should be prepared to work with adult and geriatric patient populations. Workers will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes. Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to manage workloads effectively are essential for success in this role. Candidates must commit to working three of five major holidays. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Inflexibility may lead to contract termination. Compliance with potential background checks and reference requirements will be necessary. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Successful individuals will possess strong patient and family education skills. Safety and injury prevention techniques must be a central focus of all interactions.
