Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Crescent City, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,760 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Emergency Room nursing required. License: Valid State License required at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required. Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred. - Patient ratio experience of 4:1. - Required travel experience. - Epic charting system experience preferred. Description: An experienced ER RN is needed for a dynamic emergency room unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as required by the manager. This position requires every other weekend availability. The daily patient census ranges from 50 to 70. There are 11 beds available in the unit. Candidates must have skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Central line care and management experience are essential. Continuous IV sedation and emergency medication management skills are required. Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is necessary. Candidates should be familiar with BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance. The ability to interpret arterial blood gases is critical. Candidates must be experienced in caring for ventilated patients. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols is essential. This position entails interdisciplinary support from various services, including therapy and radiology. The unit has a mix of patient age groups, including neonates and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared to provide patient care according to advanced nursing standards.
