Team as a Nurse Practitioner - Palliative Care Elevate your

care in a dynamic environment. As a Nurse Practitioner specializing
in Palliative Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing quality
of life for patients at Providence Hospice in Medford, Oregon, with
opportunities to support telehealth services across the region.
This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while
enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Required
Skills and Qualifications: Valid and active licenses in Washington
(WA) and Oregon (OR), including WA DEA and OR DEA licenses. Proven
experience in palliative or hospice care, with strong clinical
assessment and symptom management skills. Ability to perform
face-to-face admissions, recertification visits, and collaborate
effectively with RNs and other healthcare team members. Competence
in medication prescribing and managing complex patient needs.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to
patient care. Ability to handle on-call responsibilities and adapt
to variable patient caseloads. Nice to Have Skills: Prior
telehealth experience or comfort with remote patient consultations.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Experience
managing patients with complex or chronic conditions in a hospice
or palliative setting. Preferred Education and Experience: Current
Nurse Practitioner certification with at least 2 years of hospice,
palliative, or related clinical experience. Prior experience
working in outpatient or home-based hospice care is advantageous.
Other Requirements: Ability to provide onsite coverage at
Providence Hospice in Medford, Oregon, Monday through Friday,
8am-5pm, with a flexible one-hour unpaid lunch. Participation in
symptom management call on weekdays (5pm-8am), with potential
weekend call coverage (8am-8am), averaging 4 weeknight nights and 1
weekend per month. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient
care in compliance with all applicable state and federal
regulations. Willingness to participate in system and patient care
collaboration, including telehealth services and patient visits as
needed. Competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00. Enjoy comprehensive
