Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel nursing opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) setting. This role offers a unique chance to apply your perioperative nursing skills in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout operative procedures. Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies Assist surgical teams during procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining aseptic techniques Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards Document patient care and surgical interventions accurately Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current RN license with Operating Room experience Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced operating room environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and adaptability suitable for travel assignments Location:Situated along the stunning Oregon coast, Port Orford provides a serene and scenic backdrop for your professional journey.
