Type: Travel Med-Surg / Tele RN – Quick Overview/n/nOrientation:
Biweekly Mondays starting 1/6/2025/n/nMUST HAVE: EPIC experience |
2.5 years RN experience (first 6 months do not count)/n/nHousing:
Very difficult with pets/n/nPatients/Diagnoses/n/nTotal joints,
general & gyn surgeries/n/nMedical patients: CVA, PNA, CHF, ETOH,
EOL care, COVID, etc./n/nExperience/Skills/n/nGeneral surgery
experience required/n/nTotal joint experience preferred/n/nDrips:
Insulin (titration required)/n/nStaffing/Support/n/nCharge nurse on
unit (lower patient ratio)/n/nHouse supervisor 24/7/n/nCNAs
available (ratio ~7–8)/n/nTele: Central Monitoring Unit with MTs
24/7; RNs read & verify strips/n/nRT Equipment: V60 vents, CPAP,
HFNC/n/nSchedule/Requirements/n/nShifts: 12s – 0545–1815 or
1730–0615/n/nWeekends: Yes (typically every other; based on
needs)/n/nHolidays: Yes/n/nCall: None/n/nFloating: No (may float to
MS if agreeable and qualified)/n/nScrubs: Clean and professional
(no specific color)/nUnit Orientation: 1–2 shifts based on
