Rever Grand is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to be a part of our dedicated team that provides services to the I/DD community. As a DSP, you will support individuals with their personal basic needs and daily activities, and you will help them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Benefits of Working for Rever Grand · Competitive wage - $24 per hour starting wage, with a fast track to $26 per hour · Paid training (24 hours required annually) · Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual for all employees · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees after 6 months of employment · 401(k) with employer match available after 90 days of employment Schedule · Varies, based on individual needs · Flexible work schedule (full-time and part-time work available) · Overtime available Requirements: · Be at least 18 years of age. · Consent to and pass a required State Background Check. · Be legally eligible to work in the United States. · Be free of convictions of founded allegations of abuse · Experience or sincere interest in working with adults or children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities within a setting promoting community integration, normalization, and treatment of all people with dignity and respect. · Ability to actively participate in developing and implementing plans to meet the needs of the individuals served. · Ability to communicate with individuals and their families. Education and Experience · Minimum of high school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. · Experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or caretaker is a plus. Physical Requirements · Regularly stoop, bend, lift and carry at least fifty (50) pounds of weight without assistance. · Ability to lift and/or transfer physically challenged individuals who require such assistance to remain active and mobile while engaged in household or community activities.
