ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Crescent City, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • 5 years of emergency room experience required • Travel nursing experience required • Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends • Every other weekend schedule required with 3 weekend shifts per week • Self-scheduling system • 24 hours of orientation provided • Epic charting system experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified) • Trauma Level II experience required • Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Daily census ranges from 50-70 patients • Work in 12-room, 11-bed emergency department • Skills include care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, emergency medications, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, and triage • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing • Valid California nursing license required at time of submission • Only one holiday time off request will be approved • Complete non-billable e-learning modules during orientation Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency services department providing critical care for a diverse patient population.
