Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Crescent City, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ER /n/n Job Details: /n • 5 years of emergency room experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• Must work every other weekend (3 weekend shifts per week) /n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends /n• Self-scheduling system /n• 24-hour orientation period /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified) /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• Trauma Level II experience required /n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing /n• Valid state license required at time of submission /n• 50 miles travel requirement /n• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics /n• Work in 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50-70 patients /n• Required skills include care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, emergency medications, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and triage /n• Complete e-learning modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) /n/n Facility: /n This coastal healthcare facility provides comprehensive emergency services with a focus on trauma care and critical patient management. The emergency department features 12 rooms with 11 beds and maintains strong interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary support.
