RN Infusion Liaison - Patient Education at Providence Health and Services summary: The RN Infusion Liaison provides specialized nursing care focused on infusion therapy across hospital, home, and clinic settings in Oregon and southwest Washington. A primary responsibility is educating patients discharged from hospitals to ensure safe and effective infusion treatment at home or in alternate care sites. The role involves collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, and payors to deliver comprehensive infusion nursing services. Description Provides direct nursing services related to infusion therapy for patients in the hospital, home, clinic, or alternate living site. Primary focus of this position will be to provide education to patients discharging from area hospitals. Secondary responsibilities will be to provide infusion nursing care in the home or clinic. Ongoing care is accomplished through collaboration and coordination with various providers, the patient and/or caregiver, the physician and the payor. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
