Registered Nurse/Medical Surgical: Duration:13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg provides direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, managing a range of patient conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing assessments, and coordinating with healthcare teams. The RN ensures patients' comfort and recovery, educates patients and families, and documents care plans. Strong clinical skills, patient advocacy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential. Required Certs: BLS PALS ACLS CA RN License Job Duties: Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages in assigned areas using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Job Accountabilities: Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing activities of ancillary staff. Assesses patients' physiological and psychological needs and strengths in a competent and comprehensive manner. Plans, implements and evaluates patients' care plan. Demonstrates commitment to professional practice including those skills necessary to manage a patient care assignment in a cost justifiable manner.
