Job Description:
Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Current RN license
Certifications: Epic charting experience required Must-Have: - Must
float between units as needed. - Must be comfortable with accessing
ports, epidurals, laminectomy, total joint replacement, chest
tubes, and TURP. Description: This position requires a medical
surgical registered nurse to provide care to patients in a medical
surgical unit. Floating between units is part of the job to balance
staffing. Weekend availability is required, specifically every
other weekend. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
Candidates will be considered for the role if they have a minimum
of one year of nursing experience. This role does not require
on-call duties. Applicants should possess experience with Epic
charting. Candidates must request any scheduling needs upfront
during submission. Refusing to float may result in the termination
of the assignment. Priority will be given to those who meet the
experience and floating requirements.
