We prioritize trust, integrity, and long-term partnerships by providing top-tier support to clinicians and clients alike. - Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stepdown RN for a night shift assignment in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will care for patients transitioning from critical care, with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be confident in telemetry, rhythm interpretation, and basic cardiac drip titrations. - Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with conditions such as post-cath/pacer, pneumonia, COVID-19, ETOH withdrawal, and ICU downgrades. Titrate medications including insulin, heparin, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, and cardizem (no pressors or sedation). Monitor telemetry with the support of central monitoring and monitor techs. Collaborate effectively with charge nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapists, and other team members. Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.
