Pay Information $1,895 per week About The Position ID: 54617328 Shift: 12H Nights nights- eow required Description: Unit : MED SURG RN |-MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE-Require 2.5 yrs of nursing experience, first 6 months do not count-Requires at least one successfully completed travel assignment-HOUSING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH PETSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsTotal Joints, general surgeries, gyn surgeries, general medical patients including CVA, PNA, CHF, ETOH, end of life care, COVID, etcExperience or 'Must have' skillsgeneral surgery experience required, total joint experience preferred but not requiredAre RNs required to titrate drips?yes, insulinCommon titratable &/or set rate dripsInsulinCharge Nurse/House SupervisorCharge nurse in the department, takes patients at a lower ratio, hospital supervisor 24/7Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratiosyes, 7-8RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)v60 vents, cpaps and high flow nasal canula (FHNC) Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?Yes, we have a Central Monitoring Unit staffed with a MT at all times. We also have two additional MT's who staff ICU and PCU 24/7. RN's do read strips and verify measurements and interpretation by MT. Cancellation number of hours a traveler can be cancelled will depend on shift/contract length. Can cancel 1 shift or 8, 9, 10 or 12 hrs for 12 weeks or less. 2 shifts or 16, 18, 20, 24 hrs for 13 18-weeks. 3 shifts or 24, 27, 30, 36 hrs for over 19 weeks.
