website ! About the Position We are looking to hire an Outpatient
Pre-Engagement Case Manager at our DownTown Clinic in Medford,
Oregon. The Pre-Engagement Case Manager will provide outpatient
community-based recovery support services to individuals who
experience a variety of behavioral health challenges. They will
schedule and conducts home visits to provide services and asses the
home environment for potential risk(s). The Pre-Engagement Case
Manager will refer clients to the appropriate community resources
and facilitate communication and/or connection for
treatment-related purposes. They will serve as a client advocate,
assessing and assure that quality care is given. Vocational
Training Program For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare
offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training,
on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for
qualified employees to achieve the 1000 supervised hours required
to complete their certification as a QMHA-I. Through this program,
this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This
is an optional program. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday,
8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day) What You’ll Make $27.20 - $30.00
per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential
offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English
desired). About the Program Our Outpatient Program provides
assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides
clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills
training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The outpatient
clinics encompass our traditional outpatient services (therapy and
case management) as well as our Psychiatric Services team,
Community Based Programs (to include Intensive Case Management and
Supported Employment) and Substance Used Disorder (SUD) modalities.
This includes primarily onsite staff, however, does also include
some telehealth/remote staff for specific positions. ColumbiaCare
Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan
Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. What You’ll Need Must be eligible for
Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. Eligibility
requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below: Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral
Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or
related field; OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral
health experience working with individuals with behavioral health
needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of
behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory
supplemental behavioral health experience and training If not
already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction
Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in
registering within 30 days of hire. Vocational Training Program:
Employees in the optional Vocational Training Program will have
additional training expectations to meet the requirements for QMHA
testing. Driving is an essential function of this position.
Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from
their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of
hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass
a DHS criminal background check. Physical Requirements: This
position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands
and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, as
well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds . It may
require the ability to occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and
perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must
successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which
require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and
