Job Description:
General job duties. Types of procedures required. Respiratory
care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care and the
emergency room, consisting of • breathing treatments • secretion
mobilization • non-invasive and invasive ventilation •
cardiopulmonary resuscitation • intubation assistance • drawing and
analyzing blood gases • obtaining EKGs 2. Equipment utilized in the
unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems,
etc.) • Ventilators – Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV,
VentiPac transport ventilator • Non-invasive ventilators – V60 and
Vision • IPV • Capnostream 20 ETCO2 • OmniCell medication dispenser
• EPIC EMR
