Through a blended orientation of classes and clinical work, you'll be supported both professionally and emotionally by a network of senior nurses who act as preceptors and mentors.         • Emergency Room Residency Program Requirements Education:
          • Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
          • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or above, preferred. Plus , you e arn more with a higher nursing degree! License/Certification:
            • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start.
            • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association required upon start. Additional Certifications Required for Specific Units which must be obtained within 4-months of start date ( Asante will work with new grads who will require additional certifications post hire ).
              • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Women and Children's
              • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Women and Children's
              • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Critical Care (ICU, CCU, IMCU), Cardiac Center, Emergency Room
