department is the only dedicated children's health unit between
Eugene and Redding. Often referred to as a hospital within a
hospital , we offer a full range of care for children ages one day
to 17 years. Our outstanding team of clinicians includes pediatric
physicians, nurses, and therapists. As we also offer comprehensive
follow-up care in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurology,
hematology, nephrology, oncology and intermediate care, you will
have a unique opportunity to work across various pediatric
services. Our team also partners with Oregon Health & Science
University (OHSU) as our intensive care consults have been offered

Collaborate interdepartmentally to deliver excellent pediatric

Have Education Bachelor's in nursing (BSN), preferred Experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute Pediatric or NICU
setting is requiredCharge nurse experience, preferredPICU
experience, preferred License/Certification RN: Registered Nurse
licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required by start
dateBLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified
through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified by American Heart
Association (AHA) must be obtained within 4 months of hire date
Preferred Certifications CPN: Certified Pediatric NurseCPHON:
Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology NurseCCRN-P: Critical Care
