Anesthesiology opening in Medford, Oregon. Private practice all physician group with 40+ anesthesiologists and growing. Anesthesia Associates of Medford is a physician-only group of highly-trained, board certified, competent and caring anesthesiologists committed to providing the highest quality anesthesia care in the Rogue Valley. Surgeons and patients here have been placing their trust in our abilities for more than 40 years. We cover multiple sites and have great variety in our schedules. Wide breadth of surgical cases and anesthesia from healthy outpatients to complex high acuity procedures. Surgical specialties include: general, vascular, neuro, pediatric, cardiothoracic, ortho, ENT, urology, OB/GYN, and robotic surgery. Specifically, you can find us taking care of patients at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Providence Medford Medical Center, the Surgery Center of Southern Oregon, The ENT Surgery Center, and various plastic and ophthalmology surgery locations. We have a large catchment area and a strong medical community. We are hiring to provide additional services to our hospitals. We are seeking strong applicants who would complement our diverse, yet cohesive group. New graduates and experienced physicians welcomed. We are expanding our critical care service and are seeking anesthesiologists with interest in working part-time in ICU. As anesthesiologists, we serve a central role in the operating room, making decisions to keep patients comfortable and protect and regulate critical life functions. We provide a wide range of anesthesia services, including general and regional anesthetics for surgical and non-invasive procedures, acute and chronic pain management, emergency response services and labor analgesia. We take these responsibilities very seriously. The Rogue Valley is in southern Oregon and is located between Oregon s Willamette Valley and California s Central Valley. Medford is the business, medical, and financial hub for the region (600,000 people) and is located on the I-5 corridor. Ashland and Jacksonville are nearby and have the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Britt Music Festival, and Southern Oregon University. Crater Lake National Park is 90 minutes to the north, the Redwood Forest and Oregon coast are a 2-hour drive to the west, and Mount Shasta and the Mount Ashland Ski Resort are 45 minutes to the south. There are six wild rivers known for fishing and whitewater rafting. Great college preparatory schools near the clinic and the Rogue Valley public school system is also great.
