Providence is calling a RN to its Outpatient Transfusion Clinic
within the Cancer Center at Providence Medford Medical Center in
Medford, OR. This posting represents per diem/on-call positions.
Our RNs have visibility to shift availability 6 weeks in advance.
Schedules are finalized 4 weeks in advance. Our per diem nurses are
union members with the Oregon Nurses Association, and are required
to pick up 48 shift hours in a 6 week scheduling period which
includes 1 weekend per month and 2 holidays per calendar year. You
will also earn an additional 15% (of your hourly pay rate) in lieu
of benefits pay premium as a per diem Caregiver with
Providence.
For this role, the ideal candidate will be available to work
8am-5pm work shifts. We are seeking applicants who can pick up 1 or
2 shifts Monday-Friday each week, AND 2 weekend days (Saturdays or
Sundays) per month. At minimum, we are seeking candidates who can
commit to 1 shift Mondays-Fridays, and 1 weekend per month. Anyone
with 1 or more years of ambulatory procedural RN experience (ie IV
infusion, post op care within an ambulatory surgery center) are
encouraged to apply.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Transfusion
that will provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for
patients in an acute care environment; accountable for the delivery
of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based
quality care to patients and families, based on individual
physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care
strategies throughout the lifespan; and practice in accordance with
the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American
Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA
scope and standards of practice.
