Description RN - Medical/Surgical Location: Providence Medford
Medical Center Shift: 3, 12 hour day shifts; 7am-7:30pm Hiring
Bonus: $12,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible
external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is

Unit Info: Providence Medford Medical Center is a certified Level 3
trauma center and nationally recognized for excellent stroke care.
Our Medical/Surgical unit (2 East) is a 35 bed inpatient unit that
provides care for a combination of general medical and
post-surgical patients. Our nurses care for a wide variety of
diagnoses and surgical procedures, making it an excellent learning
environment. In addition, the unit sees a small population of
oncology and pediatric patients as we continue to grow those
service lines. 2 East is a fast paced, team oriented unit with a
strong commitment to delivering safe, quality patient care. Here,

- Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
- All Registered Nurses (RNs) without a minimum of a bachelor's
degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing or
higher within three (3) years of hire
- A RN with twenty (20) years of RN experience will not be
required to obtain a Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Unencumbered RN license in Oregon (OSBN)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the
following:
- American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
- American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Healthcare Provider),
-OR-
- Military Training Network (MTN) - (Healthcare Provider) upon
hire.
- One (1) year of acute care experience working with the patient
population similar to the Medical Surgical Unit -OR- completion of
the specialty residency located at Providence Prov Medford Medical
Center Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
