  • Full Time Day Shift
  • Mon-Fri scheduling only 10 hour shifts day and evenings. Interim Manager can discuss specific scheduling at time of interview
    • There is a 20 minute call back time but PMMC is not a level II trauma center so we very rarely get life or death callbacks. The staff self-schedule per bargaining unit contract. Each nurse signs up for call and chooses their days. Its on a rotational basis so you might not always get your first choice of call days but you can sign up on days that youre off or on the schedule. The call shift would start at the end of your regular assigned shift, if you were working that day. I think on average, the nurses take 8 to 9 call shifts in a six week schedule. This is the total call, including first call coverage and second call coverage, which rarely gets called in. The second call team is just a backup the first call team. Relatively speaking, call here is very easy. Just like anywhere, there are those days that call cases add up and the crew is here for long hours, but doesnt happen very often at all.
