This position provides patient care services for individuals affected by serious mental illness (SPMI) in an outpatient clinical office setting. Primary responsibilities will include: placing new patients in rooms; take and record vital signs, current symptoms and pertinent history for clients in an electronic care record system (ECR); preparing patient record data for licensed medical providers; setting up appointments, order medical supplies; attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and in-services; and other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm for 3 weeks/month, Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm 1 week/month What You'll Make Starting at $18.00+ per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional compensation offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired). About the Program Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine. What You'll Need MUST have previous experience working in a community health setting with clients experiencing mental illness working with homeless and/or underserved populations Preference will be given to those who meet any of the following criteria: Certified Medical Assistant Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AMAA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT); Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); Certificate/Degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant, Medical Secretary or Medical Administrative field QMHA Certified through Mental Health & Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check About Us ColumbiaCare Services is a non-profit, behavioral health and Veteran's service agency offering a full spectrum of programming to help people get better.
