    Summary Description:

    The Human Resource and Office Manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategies, policies, and programs to integrate all personnel and align OAI operations. This role develops and maintains a close working relationship with the entire OAI Executive Team and staff; all administrative staff report directly to the Human Resource and Office Manager. This position is key in the development of personnel policies, employment procedures, and job descriptions and will provide leadership and support in a diverse work environment through maintaining a high level of employee relations. This position is classified as Exempt under FLSA.

    Essential Functions:

    Reports to work as scheduled and on time per policy with predictable regular attendance. Time away from work is approved and taken in accordance with established policies.

    Takes all reasonable steps to maintain confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, employees, and as appropriate, other information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA mandates.

    Demonstrates positive interpersonal communication in dealing with all others. Recognizes and respects differences in the workplace.

    Demonstrates openness, sensitivity, and commitment to coworkers, patients, family members, and any other visitors to OAI.

    Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities. Uses protective equipment and takes appropriate precautions whenever there is potential contact with blood, body fluids and/or chemicals. Maintains current knowledge of disaster policies and participates appropriately in disaster drills. Expresses and applies principles of body mechanics to prevent injury and accidents.

    Displays consistent commitment to customer service and teamwork. Displays personal behavior that has a positive impact on the team.

    Demonstrates personal commitment to staying current in the field of knowledge, expanding knowledge and skill, and contributing to organizational success.

    Displays ability to work in an ever-changing environment and participate constructively in change processes.

    Attends staff meetings, completes education program as requested or approved by OAI.

    Researches and reviews with the Executive Director the annual benefits package to provide recommendations to the board; administers annual Open Enrollment for the benefits package.

    Provides strategic counsel and direction to the administration and supervisors on human resource issues including employment, employee discipline, terminations, policy interpretation, problem resolution, performance management and appraisal, job description, job evaluation, and communications.

    Provides employee recruiting and onboarding. Research, recommend, and establishes compensation and benefits policies and procedures. Provides payroll department with the new hire information along with regular benefit changes and maintains accurate and current personnel records of all staff.

    Administers policies and procedures relating to HIPAA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, and all personnel functions/activities including employment, employee relations, salary administration, maintain all employee records consistent with applicable laws.

    Contributes to the morale of the staff by developing and implementing processes for addressing the needs of employees and communicating policy; stimulates staff by developing and implementing employee recognition and rewards programs.

    Reviews, assists, and supports the general workflow between departments to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance; creates and updates written processes and provides continued education of these processes.

    Supports teams with difficult phone calls, patients, providers, insurances, etc.

    Provide daily direction and support to Admin/CSS supervisor. Gain a full understanding of all administrative processes with the ability to provide backup to the administrative teams as needed.

    Works closely with the Clinical Director and Executive Director for direction and to ensure unity.

    Is an active and participating member of OAI committees and teams.

    Performs other duties as requested.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 5 years of direct supervisory experience in a medical office with proficiency in all aspects of human resource management.

    5 years of experience in applicable Federal and State employment laws.

    Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work independently and efficiently.

    Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.

    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

    Experience in disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.

    Bachelor Degree highly preferred

    Oregon Advanced Imaging staff must provide proof of vaccination showing they are fully vaccinated or documentation of a medical or religious exemption on or before October 18, 2021. Adherence to this mandate is a requirement of employment at Oregon Advanced Imaging at the time of hire.
