  • Employment Type: TravelJob Description & RequirementsCertified Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (CRT - PICU)StartDate: 05/03/2021Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1350.00 - 1600.00START DATE: 3/6/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: 6:30pm-0700am. 12 hour night shift with weekends. Will not work alone, generally 8 staff on shift. Call not expected. REQUIRED SKILLS: MUST HAVE 2+ REFERENCES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT IN PROFILE IN ORDER TO BE SUBMITTED. 12-14 treatments per 4 hour round or 4-5 ventilators. CRT or RRT by NBRC, Or state licensure, BLS. Respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care and the emergency room, consisting of breathing treatments, secretion mobilization, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intubation assistance, drawing and analyzing blood gases, obtaining EKGs. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Ventilators - Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV, VentiPac transport ventilator, Non-invasive ventilators - V60 and Vision, IPV, Capnostream 20 ETCO2, OmniCell medication dispenser, EPIC EMR. DRESS CODE: Scrubs. No facial piercing other than ears. Tattoos covered. ORIENTATION: One precepted shift to understand our patient driven protocols, patient care expectations, charting, locations of nursing units and supplies.

Respiratory care for patients on medical floors, adult critical care and the emergency room, consisting of--- breathing treatments --- secretion mobilization --- non-invasive and invasive ventilation --- cardiopulmonary resuscitation --- intubation assistance --- drawing and analyzing blood gases--- obtaining EKGs2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) --- Ventilators - Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV, VentiPac transport ventilator--- Non-invasive ventilators - V60 and Vision--- IPV--- Capnostream 20 ETCO2--- OmniCell medication dispenser--- EPIC EMR3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Required skills as listed in #1Minimum of 1 year experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)RRT, OR state licensure, BLS5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often?
