Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, located in Medford, is a 378-bed regional referral and trauma center featuring the latest medical technology and clinical expertise--all administered with a patient-focused philosophy. Our hospital team delivers nationally-recognized heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, and cancer care, as well as a comprehensive range of other key services including neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, a primary stroke center, an accredited hospital-based sleep center, and the regions only neonatal intensive care unit. Our progressive Oncology department is a 32-bed unit that serves high risk patients who require chemo regimens, specialty end of life care, palliative and various medical treatment. To better serve our population, our unit partners with Hematology Oncology Associates and Southern Oregon Hospitalist. What You'll Do * Support nursing staff as they provide care for a diverse population seeking Medical Oncology care * Help staff realize their individual professional growth by working within the Medical Oncology Department to continue departmental growth and change * Participate in organizational initiatives and process improvement * Supervise and support daily operations within the unit, including direct patient care, provider interaction and quality standards * Collaborate with your direct manager on goal setting and planning * Provide input regarding financial, quality performance and Human Resources processes Who You Are * A motivated RN who is team-oriented and has a sense of humility * You are naturally organized and efficient * You are devoted to patient excellence * You understand and practice synergy in your work but can also work well independently * You have both strong communication and interpersonal skills What you Must Have Experience * A minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience required * Experience in area of specialty or a minimum of 2 years clinical management/supervisory experience required * Direct experience with performance improvement preferred Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's in related field preferred License * Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required * Basic Life Support certified required * Oncology Certified Nurse certified through the ONCC preferred What We Offer * Opportunity to work for an award-winning Healthcare System * A dynamic and supportive leadership team who is invested in your growth * An unparalleled, supportive culture that leads to award-winning patient outcomes * Excellent base pay, comprehensive benefits and performance-based incentives * Relocation Assistance and Sign-on Bonuses * Generous time off package including 8 holidays that supports a healthy work/life balance * Substantial retirement package that includes a 6% employer contribution About Asante and Southern Oregon Asante is one of the top 15 health systems in the nation and the largest healthcare provider in nine counties.
