Uptycs builds best-in-class cloud security products that leverage lightweight tools, built on open source software, to collect everything that can help detect, understand, and mitigate a wide variety of security problems. We analyze petabytes of data, process millions of events per second, and run a control plane that enables continuous scanning for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and APT malware on all major cloud providers and hundreds of thousands of macOS, Linux, and Windows endpoints.

Uptycs is a cloud-native security analytics platform for endpoint, cloud, and container workloads, With Uptycs, modern defenders can prioritize, investigate, and respond to threats across the entire attack surface-all from a common solution. Our platform covers use-cases spanning visibility, audit, compliance, and security. We believe IAM is a critical piece of the cloud fabric and a major attack vector for the cloud. Hence we are reimagining how to secure the Identity (IAM) fabric for native cloud providers. The platform helps in bringing Identity Observability across the entire cloud native attack surface. To support the IAM and broader Cloud Security vision, the Cloud Product Management team is seeking product enthusiasts who have constant drive to learn new technologies/markets in the cloud native area. This position will report to the Director of Product Management and work with the extended product leadership team.

What you'll do:

* Take the Cloud Security product vision/roadmap from value discovery through customer conversations/research, ideation, inception, launch and drive adoption of the capabilities by working with the field facing teams
* Become a product SME for our Cloud Security & IAM capabilities (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Assist in maintaining a clear product backlog, prioritized requirements and help in optimizing engineering work
* Collaboratively work with design, architecture, UX, and engineering teams in making sure the roadmap is executed and value delivered to customers on time
* Assist in competitive research and come up with innovative ideas to solve Cloud IAM, Cloud Security related detection, remediation, and protection challenges
* Support enabling cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales & customer success to consume what you help build
* Contribute to product videos, presentations, customer facing scripts & be the evangelist during GTM and help in educating the market/customers

What you must have:

* Must possess a minimum of 3 years progressive experience in Product Management or a Product Owner role. Security/IAM specific Product Management role is a strong plus
* 5+ years of Experience in DevOps or SecOps or IAM Sales Engineering role can be substituted for product management experience. The candidate should show a strong willingness to build products and potential to bring product vision to reality
* Must possess deep knowledge in at least one of the major public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) through product requirements definition or configuration, administration, securing of such cloud platforms
* Understanding of basic cloud architecture (IaaS/PaaS) and cloud ecosystem is a strong plus
* Highly familiar with Agile development methodologies and concepts
* Ability to prioritize, make decisions and bring clarity amidst chaos is critical to this role
* Ability to thrive and adapt to change in a growth venture
* Articulate, communicate well and influence others
* Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to succeed in a remotely distributed team environment
* Ability to manage day to day activities with little supervision

Education

* A technical degree (CS, Mathematics or Engineering) is preferred
* MBA is a plus
