Contribute and help shape a unique internal design studio at Meta in the Ads and Business organization. Studio X is looking for an experienced Art Director/Designer hybrid. This candidate will help lead design and create superb storytelling experiences in support of internal vision projects, event design, programmatic video content, and other communication design challenges. This candidate will leverage understanding of brand and design thinking to bring visions to life, while bringing a passion for design, photography, type and motion as they come together to tell compelling stories. Well leverage your experience to drive design excellence, creativity, and execution at the highest level ensuring the work rises above the noise and resonates deeply to help build culture in one of Meta's most important organizations. The ideal candidate has the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, articulate design decisions, lead quick iterations and collaborate seamlessly with VP stakeholders, creative leads, art directors, and content strategists. They possess strong communication skills, and the capability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills required to work with cross functional partners in this high self-starter environment. The candidate must thrive in ambiguous hard to grasp spaces. Breaking down complex problems and driving projects through to completion. You will help us deliver on our Studio X mission of powering ABP (Ads and Business products) with thought provoking creativity, by developing visual storytelling, presentations, systems, as well as experiential design over, digital, physical and video surfaces. You have a great deal of passion for the SMB space. You help champion our customers and our products that serve them. You bring empathy to your solutions, breaking down very complex technologies making human design narratives. This role is for a hands-on leader that has lots of runway to progress into building a team, helping others progress through by setting examples in your own design executions. We partner with Product Designers, Engineers, Marketing, Content Design, to bring humanity, emotion and storytelling to the design of, experiences, and communications. We are experts in Meta business products, and aim to inform and excite people about ABP products and services.Art Director - Studio X Responsibilities

• Ideating on brand visions and strategic understanding of design systems
• Ideating visual concepts/themes/directions and refining design work based on creative direction
• Narrative and presentation design
• Working cross-functionally and collaborating with internal and external team members
• Developing visual identity platforms, systems, typography, palette, illustration, iconography systems
• Keeping project timelines on track
• Delegating projects to team members
• Clearly articulating design decisions to a variety of partners
• Collaborating with executive staff
• Developing branding glyphs, logos, identification marks, website/wiki designs, product experiences, presentations, presentation templates, storyboards or animatics for motion graphics and videoMinimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience with communication or branding design
  • Experience developing design systems
  • Experience with environmental design
  • A track record of engaging launched projects
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
  • A portfolio with examples in branding, website designs, presentation support, communication design, promotion, and environmental design
  • Experience articulating the design trends
  • Experience leading and successfully enhancing junior designersPreferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge for creativity and design
    • Experience in business branding for SMBs
    • People management experience
    • Experience animating, using video or 3D programs
    • Experience using code frameworks to develop creative solutions, such as CSS, or Processing
    • Experience overseeing ideas from inception to launch
