The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is currently seeking an HR Director to join our best-in-class HR team to partner with the Dynetics Group. - This position will be essential as it bridges both the offline Dynetics subsidiary and fully integrated LInC Operation, within our Dynetics Group.
The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is the technology-driven core of Leidos and continues our tradition of solving the toughest scientific and engineering problems for customers.
Ideally the HR Director would be close to one of our LInC locations (Arlington, San Diego, Dayton, Albuquerque, Huntsville, Ann Arbor), or have the ability to travel to these locations as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to support the overall mission and HR service delivery for an organization of over 1100 employees and $400M
Develop and maintain high trust relationships with Operations Manager and Division Managers; and serve as a trusted advisor and advise all level of ling management within the Operation on consistent implementation of policies and procedures
As a member of the Leidos Innovations Center leadership team, collaborate to anticipate business requirements and develop strategic plans to support the achievement of current and future objectives
Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence to ensure effective alignment to achieve goals and organization results. Plan, communicate, execute and support HR initiatives including talent management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, training, performance management, salary planning, training, etc.
Supervisor a HR business partner working with Division Managers and Program Managers to support day-to-day operations and project implementation
Champion the Talent Acquisition and Inclusion and Diversity function for the Operation and partner to coordinate efforts
Provide HR leadership to support large proposal wins with program execution (i.e. incumbent captures)
Partner with new business capture teams and participate in bid reviews, bid risk reviews, and proposal teams
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (or related field)
12+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of experience in a role supporting senior and/or executive -management/leadership -at a mid- to large-sized company. - Must have broad HR expertise and strong business acumen with an ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision-making
Experience working with management of all levels, to include first-level supervisors all the way through to senior-level management
Experience developing talent and/or people plans aligned to business and HR strategy
Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Demonstrated experience leading and driving change within client groups
Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor and strong consultative and communication skills
Demonstrated experience with coaching, influencing, and building effective relationships to influence decisions
A team-player with a willingness to be hands-on with tactical duties and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ideal candidate would live near a Leidos facility however this role could be remote with travel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for a Government contractor
HR professional or other relevant certification
Advanced degree
