Vice President, Revenue Growth Management Date: Apr 1, 2021 Location: Remote, US Company: DANONE About the Job: The Vice President of Revenue Growth Management will lead the Sales organization to make decisions on how to maximize the revenue potential and bottom-line impact of the business by utilizing consumer insights to develop pricing strategies aligned to brand and customer strategies and through optimization of revenue investments. This role will be responsible for driving results behind one of the organization's most critical strategic pillars. The incumbent will serve as a key influencer and thought leader to Danone's US Sales Leadership Team. You will:

  • Build RGM center of excellence
  • Lead RGM team to develop impactful insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with other functions to influence decision making across the business
  • Build customer planning Center of Excellence
  • Lead annual planning and execution
  • Lead improvement initiatives for tools and reporting
  • Support sales/customer teams as needed
  • Manage the team
  • Grow your people You will be accountable for:
    • Leading the development of a deep analytical foundation and capability over time
    • Defining the roles and responsibilities for the RGM team members and content the organization owns
    • Developing and disseminate self-service RGM tools (e.g., promo ROI evaluator)
    • Working with training to conduct education sessions across the org (all sales FTEs, Category leadership, finance, etc.) to facilitate understanding of power, limitations, and implications of RGM analytics, tools, and potential strategies
    • Directing the efforts of team in performing RGM analyses and generate impactful insights
    • Translating insights from these analyses into actionable and impactful recommendations to Category and Sales teams
    • Being the source of pricing, promo, assortment, and trade expertise, and properly work with and help shape the thinking of Categories (e.g., when building category pricing, promo, trade strategies), Sales (e.g., when creating customer level plans and executing), Finance (e.g., evaluating and tracking performance), Marketing CoE (e.g., coordinating on analyses, understanding connection between consumer insights and RGM analyses), and the executive team
    • Maintaining a total enterprise view; set agenda/prioritization of initiatives and ensure these are reflected across customer plans
    • Designing standards and best practices for customer planning process
    • Overseeing the creation of standard tools to support customer forecasting, sales planning, sales investment tracking, etc. and cascade tools to the customer planning organization in the field/region
    • Supporting strategic planning processes at key customers to ensure best practices are being used properly
    • Building and maintain strong culture within team (centrally, in the region, and at customers) About You:
      • You will have a minimum of Bachelor's degree in business or other discipline that requires quantitative knowledge required.
      • You will have 15+ years of progressive experience with a combination of HQ and field sales roles within CPG industry
      • You will have at least five years specifically within trade marketing, consumer pricing, or revenue management in the consumer sector
      • You will need strong experience in sales & finance
      • You will need to be a highly respected and credible individual in the sales organization who will be able to influence other sales leaders
      • You will need to demonstrate the ability to achieve breakthrough results through the course of work
      • You must have strong analytical acumen
      • You will have strong team leadership and management skills
      • You will need to have the ability to attract, develop, and maintain high performers
      • You will need the ability to comprehend and manage a complex, fragmented business

The base compensation range for this position is $275,000-$300,000.
