Job Description Job Description Lead CNC Machinist - Swing Shift Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join their Swing Shift team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating both conventional and CNC machines to produce and repair metallic and nonmetallic parts. You'll need to have a strong understanding of mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining procedures to ensure high-quality, precise results. Location: Central Point OR 97504 - onsite Schedule: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday – Friday (47.5 hours/week with a 1-hour lunch). Employment: Full-time, permanent - with benefits What you'll do: Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Use precision measuring tools. Perform repairs on parts using various machining equipment. Perform 4- and 5-axis setups. Troubleshoot and repair basic tooling. Fabricate or manufacture parts and tooling as needed. Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists. What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. 5 years of machining and setup experience preferred (not required). Proficiency in diverse manual machine setups. Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and machine complex parts. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
